We are able to assist with your boat salvage & recovery or partner with another salvage specialist of your choice. Once the vessel has been salvaged, our team is then able to load it onto one of our trailers and transport it to be repaired or assessed by an insurance company whether that be locally or interstate.

Do I have to have my own trailer?

No we will use ours. Our trailer has been custom-built to be able to adapt to various boat width, lengths and weights.

Why take your boat out of the water at a boat ramp?

Taking your boat out of the water at a local boat ramp means it can be transported to your house or any location you like, without the use of expensive cranes or lifts.

Where can my boat be moved to after you pick it up from the boat ramp?

Anywhere you like!

Once we get the boat from the boat ramp we can deliver it to:

your house
a marina
a workshop to be worked on or upgraded
to a new waterway you would like to explore
to a new owner
to one of our Cradles or Hard Stands
interstate to chase warmer weather or the fishing season!

Where can my boat be moved to after you pick it up from the boat ramp?

My boat doesn’t have a trailer. I need you to transport it to my house on your trailer but what do I do with it then?

We also offer cradle or hardstand hire. See Cradle and Hardstand Hire for more information.

We can move your boat from the boat ramp to your house and onto a hardstand for maintenance and repairs. Then just let us know when your boats ready to go back into the water and we can move it back from the hardstand onto our trailer and put it back in the water for you.

Can you transport my boat interstate by road?

Yes Land & Sea offer road transport services up and down the East Coast of Australia. We also consider all Australia wide relocations. If you have a vessel you need moved please contact us with the details.

Do you just work with businesses, or can you move personal boats to?

We work with everyone. From privately owned boats, caravans and registered trailers, to brokers, auction houses and insurance companies. No job is too big or too small.

What if my boat is on a mooring and I can’t get it to the boat ramp?

If your boat can’t be moved under its own power or you don’t have time to meet us at the boat ramp, we are able to arrange getting the boat to the boat ramp for you.

Is your boat insured if we pick it up from a boat ramp?

Yes. Land & Sea Corporation Pty Ltd provides insurance coverage for your boat while it is in our care. Being boat owners ourselves we know they are your pride and joy, so we always take care to make sure your boat is loaded onto our trailer with protection for the hull, engines, outriggers and any other fittings before we move it.

How much will it cost?

The cost of float on / float off transport by Land & Sea Boat Movers will depend on:

• The size and weight of your vessel.
• The type of location it will picked up from and moved to.
• The distance the vessel needs to travel.
• The urgency of the job.
